What is Lead Journey & How to set lead journey stages in Borg Desk Workplace ERP ?

What is a Lead Journey?
A Lead Journey is the complete lifecycle of a prospect (lead) from the moment they first interact with your business until they either convert into a customer (sale) or drop off.It helps you track where a lead stands today, what actions are needed next, and ensures no lead is lost in miscommunication or negligence.

In Borg Desk ERP, the Lead Journey ensures that:
✅Every lead follows a defined process.
✅Sales teams stay accountable.
✅Managers get a clear pipeline view of conversions.

Data-driven decisions can be made to improve sales performance.

Typical Lead Journey Stages in Borg Desk ERP : You can customize stages as per your business, but a recommended structure looks like this:

New Lead / Captured :
✅Lead comes in from website, referral, call, WhatsApp, or any channel.
✅Assigned automatically (or manually) to a salesperson.
✅Contacted / First Touch
✅Sales team has made the first call or email.

Purpose: Introduce company, validate requirement.

Qualified Lead : Lead shows genuine interest.
Budget, authority, need, and timeline (BANT) confirmed.

Proposal / Quotation Shared : Business proposal, demo, or quotation sent.

Negotiation / Discussion : Lead is actively engaging in terms, pricing, or scope.

Won (Converted) : Lead agrees → becomes a customer.
Automatically moved to customer database in Borg Desk ERP.

Lost / Dropped : Lead is not interested or not a fit.

Still tracked for future remarketing.

How to Set Lead Journey Stages in Borg Desk ERP
Go to Admin Panel → Borg Desk APP Icon on right top → Sales CRM >> Click on Tool Icon on right top >> Navigate to Custom Lead Form >> Scroll down to Lead Status >>> Click on Plus (+) Sign against Lead Status
Define Lead Stages (Contacted, Qualified, Proposal Sent etc.).
You can rename stages as per your sales cycle.

Assign Workflow Rules:
Example: When status = “Proposal Shared” → system auto-sends reminder after 3 days.
Example: When status = “Converted” → system auto-sends Welcome Whatsapp, Message & Email to customer .

Enable Notifications & Reports: Managers get real-time visibility of how many leads are at each stage.
Integrate Automation (Optional): Auto-assign leads to sales reps.
Auto-followup reminders.

✅ Result:
Instead of depending on salespersons’ memory, the system drives the lead journey — ensuring accountability, timely follow-ups, and higher conversion rates.
