How to set discounts for customers by using price list ? or How Price list work in Inventory / Stock / Product / Order Module of Borg Desk ERP ?
Setting up a Price List in Borg Desk ERP allows businesses to define custom pricing and discounts for different customers, product categories, and sales channels. This ensures flexible pricing strategies based on business needs.
Step 1: Access the Price List Module
1️⃣ Log in to Borg Desk ERP.
2️⃣ Navigate to Inventory Module → Click on Manage Price List.
3️⃣ Click "Create New Price List" to set up a custom price list.
Step 2: Define the Price List Details
✔ Price List Name – Example: "VIP Customers Discount," "DISCDP35," "Seasonal Discount," "DISCMRP30," etc.
✔ Select the product category (Can be selected one or more) to apply this pricing or discounting to the customers
✔ Select Discount Percentage (%) to be offered to set of customers
✔ Select Type of price you want to apply discounting on like MRP, DP, MSP etc.
✔ Select Warehouse where you want to offer this pricing or discounted price.
✔ Assigning to Customer – Assign this price list to a specific customer.
✔ Validity Period – Price list does not have any validity. It will remain appliable until it would be removed or updated.
Step 3: Add Products & Discounts
✅ Click to select "Products Categories" from drop down. Multiple categories can also be configured.
✅ Set the Type of Price and apply a discount percentage or fixed amount.
✅ Select Discount Percentage (%) to be offered to set of customers
✅ Select Warehouse where you want to offer this pricing or discounted price.
✅ Choose the applicable tax structure for the price list. The same will be picked from Product Master.
Step 4: Apply the Price List to Orders
✔ Assigning to Customer – Assign this price list to a specific customer.
✔ When creating a sales order, the system will automatically fetch the assigned price list for the customer.
✔ The discounted price will be applied without manual adjustments.
✔ Multiple price lists can not be applied in the Borg Desk ERP.
Step 5: Save & Activate Price List
✔ Click "Save & Activate" to make the price list available for use.
✔ You can later edit, Delete, or create multiple price lists as needed.
