How to define custom order status as per my business inside Inventor /Product / Order Module in Borg Desk ERP ?
Every business which is in supply chain of products or materials needs to set their own specific status of orders as per their business requirement. Borg Desk facilitates to configure order status label as per your need & desire. There is not limitation of number of orders. This can be done only in Inventor module of Borg Desk Module. This is also referred as Order Stages.
Borg Desk ERP allows businesses to define custom order statuses based on their workflow, making order tracking and management more efficient. By customizing order statuses, you can ensure that each order moves through the right stages based on your business process.
How to set into Borg Desk ERP ?
Step 1: Access the Order Module
✅ Log in to Borg Desk ERP.
✅ Navigate to Inventory Module → Click on Tool Icon on right top of ERO screen. One new window will be opened.
✅ Click on Custom Order Status (e.g., Under Review, Quality Check, Packaging, Processing, Dispatched, Delivered, etc.)
✅Enter / Define Staus/Stage Labels in the configuration panel.
✅Keep clicking on plus sign(+) to add more status & Finnaly click on Save button in the bottom
✅Choose a Color Code to visually differentiate the status.
After click on save button, Page will remain open & you can see there are few columns for enabling sms, email, whatsapp etc & to show status on dashboard. Ony any 4 can be slected to show on dashbaord for stats purpose.
Step 2: Link Status to Notifications
✅ Enable Auto Notifications to inform customers and internal teams about status updates via Email, SMS, or WhatsApp.
✅ Example: When the status changes to "Shipped", send a tracking link automatically.
Step 3: Save & Apply Custom Order Statuses
✔ Click "Save & Apply" to activate the new order status settings.
✔ The custom order statuses will now be available in the order tracking system.
