Can sales team place order from sales crm module or only Inventory module has option for placing / creating sales order?
Yes! In Borg Desk ERP, the Sales Team can create and place sales orders directly from the Sales CRM module as well as from the Inventory module. Here's how it works:
Order Placement in Different Modules:
✅ Sales CRM Module
Sales teams can convert a lead or opportunity directly into a Sales Order without switching to the Inventory module.
Useful when the sales team is interacting with a customer and needs to place an order immediately.
Steps:
✔Go to Sales CRM > Lead Opportunities
✔Select a lead/opportunity and click Convert that Lead to make it customer
✔Go to Manage Sales Order ----> Click to New Sales Order
✔Choose Customer, products, pricing, and discounts etc,

✅ Inventory/Order Module
Primarily used for managing stock, approvals, and logistics after an order is placed.
Sales Orders from CRM will reflect here for processing.
Warehouse & dispatch teams work from this module.
However, Borg Desk also facilitates to place / create orders from Inventory Module too.
