Can the Default Product Price Be Modified While Placing an Order in Borg Desk ERP?
Yes! Borg Desk ERP allows flexibility in pricing while placing orders however Borg Desk does not recommend to allow this permission to users except in any critical situations. Here’s how it works:

Default Price & Modifications:

1️⃣ Default Price from Product Master:  
When adding a product to an order, the system automatically picks the default price from the Product Master.   How to set Product Master

2️⃣ Manual Price Modification (If Allowed):
If the admin enables price editing permissions, users can manually change the price while placing an order in:
✅Sales CRM Module (For sales CRM or Inventory teams creating orders)
✅Inventory Module (For warehouse/inventory management)

3️⃣ Restricted Pricing (If Not Allowed):
If pricing edits are disabled in settings, users must apply predefined discounts or select an approved price list.

4️⃣ Custom Discounts & Offers:
Users can apply customer-specific discounts, promo codes, or special pricing if their role permissions allow by using price List.  How to create price list

5️⃣ Approval Workflow for Price Changes (Optional):
If required, any price modifications can be locked behind an approval workflow.

✅Where to Configure Price Change permission Settings?
Navigate to Settings --> Find Users ---> User Management ---> Search for User whom to assign permission ---> Click on Permission Icon on extreme right in action column of Selected user---> Find Inventory Module -->  Find "Item Price modify rights during Order" Permission / Item GST modify rights during Order / Item discount modify rights during Order---> Mark Check (Tick Mark) all or any of  three if Allowed to modify product / Item Pricing while adding in the order.
