Can a duplicate quote be assigned to different customer in BORG Desk ERP?
NO! In BORG Desk ERP, a Duplicate Quote cannot be assigned to a different customer, but a Revised Quote can be created for the same customer.
How to Create a Revised Quote for the Same Customer from Manage Project Quote in Sales CRM Module ?
1️⃣ Go to: Sales CRM → Manage Quotations >> Manage Project Quote
2️⃣ Select the Existing Quote you want to revise or to make Duplicate > click on Action Button showing Duplicate Data
3️⃣ Click "Revise Quote" (Edit/Modify Option)
4️⃣ Update the pricing, products, terms, or discounts as needed
5️⃣ Click "Save & Generate Revised Quote"
Key Points:
✔ Duplicate Quote → Not Allowed for a Different Customer
✔ Revised Quote → Can Be Created for the Same Customer
✔ One has to create same required Quote to other Customer again , a fresh new Quote as mentioned above.
Thus this functionality is indeed on our roadmap. Same quote to a different customer is planned for BORG ERP future upgrade.
