How to Update the Lead Status, Next Follow-up Date, New Track Log and View Track Log of Leads in Borg Desk ERP?
Managing leads efficiently is crucial for tracking sales progress and customer interactions. Here’s how you can update lead status, add logs, and view lead summaries in BORG Desk ERP Sales Module.
Tracking of logs plays very important role in complete life cycle of Lead from reporting to conversion. It takes enough time to convert any lead from the day of reporting. Most of the time, It requires very close follow up to convert potential lead in to customer.
If Entire follow up logs are stored somewhere it helps not only in analyzing potential of leads bit also sales team’s efforts in converting the leads. Tracking logs also let you know the reason behind any lead status & provide justification for the same.
Borg facilitates every salesperson to maintain tracking logs on every conversation with prospects.
Steps to Update Lead Status & Next Follow up Date
1️⃣ Go to: Sales CRM → Lead Opportunities / Pending Follow-ups
2️⃣ Select the Lead you want to update
3️⃣ Click on “Track Log” which is on Action Column in the lead listing Tables”
4️⃣ Choose the New Lead Status (e.g., New, Contacted, Qualified, Converted, Lost, etc.) & Next Follow-up date on the Left Top
5️⃣ Click on Submit to Save the Changes ✅
Please Note:
✅Lead Status & Next Follow-up date can be modified both at a time or any one of them as required.
Steps to View Lead Summary
1️⃣ Repeat Above 3 points of Update Lead Status to Navigate to the “Track Log” section
2️⃣ Scroll Down the page to view the lead deatils for reference & Follow up
3️⃣ It also allows to place click to call from this page.
Please Note:
The summary helps sales teams quickly assess a lead’s progress and plan next actions.
==>To access the Lead Summary, click the Eye Icon within the Lead's action menu. This will open a Pop-up window displaying the details.
Steps to Add a New Log to a Lead
1️⃣ Repeat Above 3 points of Update Lead Status to Navigate to the “Track Log” section
2️⃣ Go to: on “Add New Log” Section input
3️⃣ Either you can Type or Click on Mic in the extreme Right & speak to convert it into Text Format
4️⃣ Enter Details such as: Call/Email/Meeting Notes, Follow-up Action Required Lead Score etc.
5️⃣ Click on Submit (Just below the Track Log Input) to Save Log Entry ✅
Please Note:
✅Logs help in tracking past interactions and improving sales follow-ups.
==>Click "Add Log Button" to Add a new Lead tracking log.
Clicking the "Add Log" button opens a page showing the lead's history, including the Previous log, Lead thermometer, and Lead score. You can also add a New tracking log . Update the Lead score as needed and click "Submit" to save the new log.
