In Borg Desk Workplace ERP,
the Project Quotation represents the commercial proposal shared with a client —
while the Project BOQ represents the technical and financial breakdown of items, quantities, and pricing linked to that quotation.

Both are tightly integrated within the Sales CRM and Project modules, ensuring continuity from quotation to execution.

Functional Linkage Flow
1. Quotation Created from Sales CRM
User creates a Project Quotation under:
Sales CRM → Manage Quotations → Manage Project Quote

The quotation includes:
Project Name
Client Details
Scope Summary
Quotation Line Items (Modules / Deliverables / Services / Cost)
Each quotation can contain multiple items or cost heads that form the basis of the requirement.

2. Automatic BOQ Generation from Approved Quotation
Once the client approves the quotation
you can convert it into a Project BOQ with a single click:
Click → “Convert to Project BOQ” or “Generate BOQ” inside the quotation.
The system automatically:
Transfers all line items, quantities, rates, and descriptions
Assigns a unique BOQ Number linked to the Quote Number
Captures version/revision references for audit tracking
✅ Example:
Quotation No. QO-25-00042 → Linked BOQ No. BOQ-25-00042

3. Project BOQ Accessible in Project Module
Once generated, the BOQ becomes part of the Project App for planning & execution.
Module Path:  Borg Desk App Icon → Project App → Manage Project → View / Edit Project → BOQ Tab

From here you can:
View all linked BOQs
Edit quantities or scope (with version control)
Track actual vs quoted cost

4. Changes does not happen Auto-Sync Any-Way ?
If any update is made in BOQ (e.g., revised item cost or scope),
system does not sync back with the Quotation or create a revision version.

5. Role-Based Access
Sales Team: Creates & edits quotations.
Project Team: Works on BOQ execution, milestones & actual work reports.
Management / Accounts: Can view linked Quote–BOQ chain for approvals, billing & profitability analysis.

6. Reporting & MIS Integration
The Quote–BOQ linkage allows:
Estimation vs Actual Cost comparison
Profit margin tracking
Client-wise & project-wise quote history
Project progress billing reports
