Follow these steps to map while adding any new Item from  your Product Category & Sub Category in  your Sales Order :

Step 1: Open the Inventory Module

1. Log in to your Borg Desk Workplace account.

2. Go to the Inventory  section from the left-hand menu.

3. Click on Track Orders.

4. Choose Track  Order or open an existing draft/ Order .

Step 2: Go to the Item Adding Page 

1. Click on Add Item.

2. This will open the Add Items in Order Cart page

Step 3: Locate the Sub-Category Information

When you click on  Add Items in Order Cart page, we are redirected to View Products List page .

• Click on + icon given beside  reset button 
• when clicked  a new small window will open 
• You can find  all products displayed there  and also you can filter with Category,  Subcategory & Product 
• You need to just ✅ on the product which  you want to add in this Sales order. 

• Item Name / Product Name

• Category

• Sub-Category

• SKU / Item Code

• Unit / UOM

• Available Stock

• Price

  If the table is wide, the Sub-Category column may appear towards the middle or end, and sometimes you may need to scroll horizontally.

  Where exactly to find Sub-Category?

• Look for the column header named “Sub-Category” in the item list.

• Every item row will show its assigned sub-category (e.g., Electronics → Mobile → Accessories)

  Step 4: Use Search Filters for Faster Access (If enabled)

  Some configurations of Borg Desk Workplace provide filtering at the top of the popup:

• Search by Item Name

• Search by SKU

• Search by Category

• Search by Sub-Category

• Step 5: Verify the Sub-Category in Item Master (Optional Check)

  If you still cannot find the sub-category inside the Sales Order:

• Go to Inventory > Items / Product Master.

• Open the specific item.

• Check if Category + Sub-Category are properly assigned.

• If missing, update the sub-category so it appears correctly in Sales Order item selection.
