Can a disabled user license be retrieved or reused in BORG Desk Workplace ?

Disabled User License Retrieval in BORG Desk Workplace

Q1. Can a disabled user license be retrieved or reused in BORG Desk Workplace?

A: No. As per BORG Desk Workplace technical architecture, once a user license is disabled by the Admin, it cannot be retrieved or reused again.


Q2. What happens if a disabled user is made active again?

A: If a previously disabled user is made active again, the system will require a completely new license. The old license associated with the disabled user is permanently consumed and cannot be restored.


Q3. Why is a new license required after disabling a user?

A: This is due to license management technicalities in the BORG Desk Workplace platform. Once a license is disabled, it is permanently locked and cannot be reassigned or reactivated.


Q4. The client has disabled a license and is now requesting access again. What should be done?

A: In this case, the client must purchase a new license to activate the user again.


Q5. How can a new user license be purchased?

A:  To buy a new license:

  1. Log in to the BORG Desk Workplace Admin Account

  2. Click on the Cart Icon

  3. Select the required User License

  4. Complete the purchase process
    Once purchased, the new license can be assigned to the user.


Important Note

⚠️ Admins are advised to carefully review before disabling any user license, as disabled licenses are non-recoverable and will require additional purchase if reactivation is needed later.
